Fifth day of Global Entrepreneurship Week celebrations turned up to be one of the most exciting events of the week long celebrations. Ayla Majid from KMR Accountants moderated the panel discussion focused on Women Empowerment through Women Entrepreneurship. She was accompanied by Dr. Shahina Waheed-UNIDO, Matan Meyer-ECON US Embassy, Farida Rashid-President IWCC and Sumaira Sajjad-Fashion Designer as panelist members to guide, consult and motivate female students to become future entrepreneurs. Apart from motivating females they talked about enabling supportive environment for females and to encourage them to be an entrepreneur, they said while addressing to the question, how males can play their role for women empowerment? Students from KPK and Twin Cities of Islamabad/Rawalpindi actively participated throughout the session and made the event quite interactive. Shahid Ansari, Director Incubation Center at Comsats spoke about how a woman can be a successful entrepreneur by initiating from small level of projects. Event ended up with a networking session with the students, enabled them to talk directly with their mentors upon their business ideas.
